Running across the whole week you can take part in hands-on experiments, fun activities, games and challenges. You even have the chance to grow your own germs!
All in the upstairs event space of Y Storfa.
Each day we have additional activities for you! See below to find out what other activities we have running!
Tuesday 4th August: Arts & Crafts Day
Come join us in the Children’s Section of Y Storfa library for an arts & crafts bonanza! Colour and decorate our Superbugs colouring sheets to enter our arts & crafts competition. Make your own clay germs and even create your own stop-motion animation film with them!!
Wednesday 5th August: Maths & Literacy Day
Come take part in the Superbugs treasure hunt. Can you find the hidden germs? You will be able to explore the Superbugs website and challenge yourself to complete all of our online games. Delve deeper into the microbial world in, on and around us with some of the amazing visual books we will have on show throughout Y Storfa.
Thursday 6th August: Movie Day!
BRING YOUR SNACKS!
Once you have finished exploring the Superbugs exhibition and hands-on experiments, why not relax in front of a good film!
10.30 – 12.30: Strange World (suitable for all ages)
1.30 – 3.30: Osmosis Jones (8+ years, at parents discretion)
Friday 7th & Saturday 8th August: Superbugs Escape Room
Come along and become scientists. Take part in challenges, solve puzzles and complete real-life experiments. Discover the code to unlock the live-saving antibiotics and take your chance to kill the Superbugs. We hope your aim is good...?
