Station 9: How resistance spreads

The growing spread of antibiotic resistance is a very complicated issue, and we tried to reflect this in our pop-up shop by showing the visitors many of the human factors driving the rise in resistant infections.

We also used a ‘ring toss’ game to show how bacteria can share DNA from one cell to another, and how this helps the spread of resistance through bacterial communities.
